Parents are more and more looking for teachers who are knowledgeable about ADHD and Bipolar Disorder, experienced and comfortable in dealing with these students, and, up-to-date on "evidence –based" remediation strategies. They want to know what you’re going to do for their child. But, they want to hear about solutions that are proven to work. Giving parents anything other than this, as you know, will likely mean a poor working relationship (at best) with the parents; and, probably with the student, too.
